In this video Melissa will share 10 useful tips to help your supply teaching days go a lot more smoothly. The piece of advice that I like the most is about being confident. A confident teacher would have a positive impact on his or her students' achievement, attitude, effective and even socio-emotional growth. I really like working with adults as they are able to speak freely. You may start your lesson with a speech "What is family for me". Students could feel comfortable cause there is no right or wrong answer. This is only their opinion. Of course, these students are older but every student like getting an interesting and beautiful handout. It motivates studying more I guess. There are a lot of exercises for you that I've found. Hope you will find this information interesting. Please, let me know what activities you are using for adults to make the lesson more productive!
